Besides providing our hospital partners with basic blood products, we offer additional services to meet the communities’ needs including component preparation, plateletpheresis, plasmapheresis, leukapheresis, washed blood, cord blood, frozen blood, autologous storage and an Immunohematology reference laboratory.
We effectively help customers reduce their blood usage and costs by providing novel programs, processes and services designed to improving customer’s blood utilization.
As the only public cord blood bank in California, we provide a robust program that collects, processes and cryopreserves cord blood units. Subsequently, this lifesaving resource is available for transplantation for patients with a variety of diseases via our support of the National Marrow Donor Program® (NMDP), Be The Match Registry®.
