As the holiday season approaches, the spirit of giving becomes even more profound. This November, San Diego Blood Bank is excited to introduce our "Season of Giving" campaign, a special initiative in partnership with The Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank.
From November 1-30, 2023, every blood donation made at San Diego Blood Bank will lead to a donation of 5 meals to The Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank. Our ambitious goal is to provide 37,500 meals to those in our community who need it most.
But the giving doesn't stop there! All our donor centers will also be accepting non-perishable food items throughout the month. By donating blood and contributing food items, you can truly double your impact and help those in need in two significant ways.
The holiday season is a time of joy and celebration, but it's also a time when many in our community face challenges. Food insecurity is a pressing issue, and with the current economic climate, more families are struggling to put meals on the table. By partnering with The Jacobs & Cushman San Diego Food Bank, we aim to make a difference and ensure that no one goes hungry this holiday season.
