October is here, and at San Diego Blood Bank, we're celebrating Socktober! When you donate blood this month at any SDBB donor center or mobile drive, you'll receive a pair of limited-edition Dia de los Muertos (Day of the Dead) themed socks* as a special thank you for your life-saving donation.

Last year, our talented employee Jasmine Castle designed a fantastic pair of Halloween-themed socks that donors absolutely loved. This year, we're excited to continue the tradition with a new design celebrating Dia de los Muertos. It's our way of showing appreciation for the incredible impact our donors make in the lives of patients in need.

Eligibility

To donate blood, you must be at least 17 years old, weigh at least 114 pounds, and be in general good health. We encourage all eligible donors to schedule an appointment and join us in celebrating Socktober!
